Gaziantep Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Dergisi, akademisyenler ve araştırmacılar tarafından iktisadi ve idari bilimler alanlarında yapılan bilimsel nitelikli çalışmaların yayınlanabileceği bir platform oluşturmayı amaçlamaktadır.

Gaziantep University Journal of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences aims to create a platform where scientific studies made by academics and researchers in the fields of economics and administrative sciences can be published.

The journal publishes articles in economics, business, finance, finance, international relations, public administration, political science and other related fields. asd

Articles should be prepared in Word .docx format and uploaded to the Dergipark system.

1. Page size should be A5, margins should be Top-Bottom-Left-Right: 2.5 cm.
2. The title of the article should be written in Bookman Old Style, 16 points and capital letters.
3. Under the title of the article, the name and surname of the author should be written in Bookman Old Style 12 point size. Information about the author (title, institution, e-mail address and ORCID) should be written under the name and surname in 10 font size Bookman Old Style.
4. After the author's information, a Turkish summary of maximum 150 words should be included in the study, written in 10pt, Bookman Old Style, Italic, Justified. The title of "Abstract" should be written in 10 points and bold.
5. In the study, the main text should be written in Bookman Old Style font, with single line spacing, then with 6 pt paragraph spacing and justified in 10 point size.
6. Headings should be written in 10 font size and bold. The Numbering Scheme is as shown in the template file.
7. In-text references should be displayed as follows. For works with three or more authors, "et al." abbreviation should be used. If there is no short name of the institution, the full name of the institution should be stated in the publications of the institution.

8. Tables, figures or graphics used in the study should be written in 10 point size and single line spacing. Tables, figures and graphics should be numbered sequentially. The title of the table or figure should be written at the top.
REFERENCES WRITTEN
The sources used in the study should be included at the end of the study under the title of "bibliography". In the bibliography section, which will be written in 10 font size, Bookman Old Style, Justified, 1.25 cm Hanging format, the sources used should be shown in alphabetical order according to their surnames.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

Gaziantep University Journal of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences adheres to academic principles and ethical values in its publication policy. It continues its publication life in accordance with national and international standards regarding ethical principles and values. In this context, the standards set by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and the principles set in the YÖK "Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive" are taken into account ( https://publicationethics.org/ & https://www.yok.gov.tr/ Pages/Corporate/legislation/scientific-research-and-ethical-management.aspx). The publication request of the works that are found to be in violation of the research and publication ethics standards accepted in the article evaluation process is rejected. If the said contradiction is detected after the publication of the work, the work is removed from the publication.

*The principles stated below have been prepared on the basis of the standards specified by COPE and YÖK.

Authors Responsibility

Before the work is sent to the Journal, it checks and confirms whether it complies with the ethical standards, publication principles and spelling rules adopted by the Journal.

It is the author(s) responsibility to prepare the work in accordance with research and publication principles. By submitting the work, the author undertakes that the work has been prepared in accordance with the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works No. 5846, the YÖK Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive, and the research and publication ethics standards announced by COPE.

Responsibility of the Referees

The referee completes the evaluation of the work sent to him, taking into account the principles explained by COPE, and submits it to the editorial board within the time allotted to him.

Responsibility of the Editor and Editorial Board

a) Impartiality: the editor conducts the evaluation process of the works regardless of the religion, gender, nationality and political view of the author.

b) Confidentiality: It ensures that the principle of blind refereeing is protected during the publication process. It also takes measures to prevent the occurrence of a conflict of interest between the author and the referee.

c) Fairness: Considers the COPE guideline in terms of compliance of the referee process with ethical standards.

d) Cooperation and coordination: Necessary cooperation and coordination is provided to complete the evaluation process of the works within the stipulated time.

e) Information sharing: It observes the principles set by COPE in sharing information about the publication process of the journal and article evaluation processes with other members of the Board.

f) Ethical violations: Regarding a work sent to the Journal for publication or published in previous issues of the Journal,

When there are duplicate publications, slicing, plagiarism, fabricated data, conflict of interest and suspicion of unfair authorship;
Complies with the standards specified by COPE regarding requests for change of authorship. It also pays attention to issues regarding duplication and slicing and/or unfair authorship published by COPE.

1. There is no evaluation fee and application fee for the articles submitted to the journal.
2. There is no royalty payment to the author (s) for the works published in the journal.
3. Compliance with the spelling and punctuation rules in the articles to be sent to the Journal of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Gaziantep University is one of the most important issues.
4. The citation and reference order of the articles to be sent to the Journal of Gaziantep University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences should be made in accordance with APA.
5. Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Gaziantep University should not have been published anywhere before and have not been presented for publication.
6. Articles should be written in Turkish or English. The responsibility of the studies published in the journal in terms of science and language belongs to the author (s).
7. In our journal, not only studies from academics but also studies from researchers and practitioners will be evaluated.
8. The articles should be prepared by filling the article template on the spelling rules page, and saved in .docx format, and uploaded to the system.
9. Articles, first of all, will be evaluated by our Editorial Board at the pre-control stage, and articles that contribute to the literature in terms of their scientific content will be included in the refereeing process.
10. Articles sent to our journal are sent to at least two referees after preliminary examination in terms of form and content and scanned in the plagiarism program. Articles with positive opinions from the referees are taken into the publishing process. If one positive and one negative report is received from the referees, the study is sent to a third referee if deemed appropriate by the Editorial Board. No referee recommendations are received from the authors or third parties in any way. Referee appointments are made by the editorial board.
11. Articles submitted for publication in the journal should be prepared in accordance with the rules of research and publication ethics. Ethics committee approval must be obtained separately for researches and clinical and experimental studies on humans and animals that require an ethical committee decision, this approval must be stated and documented in the article. In studies requiring ethics committee approval, information about the permission (name of the board, date, and number) should be included in the method section and also on the first/last page of the article. In the case of reports, the information that the informed consent/consent form was signed should be included in the article. Therefore, articles that do not send this document although the ethics committee requires a permit will not be evaluated and will be rejected.
12. The publication time and the number of articles of which the evaluation process has been completed are determined by the Editorial Board. For articles accepted for publication, an acceptance e-mail is sent to the author (s) via DergiPark.
13. The evaluation process has been completed and the articles can be published with the opinion of the editorial board within a maximum of 3 issues following its acceptance.
14. More than one article of an author (even with multiple authors) in a year cannot be published, including special issues.
15. An author (even with multiple authors) cannot submit more than one article in a calendar year.
16. In addition to original research, translations are also published from time to time in Gaziantep University Journal of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The copy showing where the translation was published should be sent to the journal as an attachment to the article, together with the approval of the author / s and the journal in which the first publication was made.
17. In line with the reports from the referees, it is decided to publish the article, to request the correction, additional information, and abbreviation from the author (s) within the framework of the report or not to publish, and this decision is notified to the author (s) through the system. The author (s) are obliged to make all changes requested by the referees. If the authors do not make the requested changes within the specified period, their articles are returned.
18. Published articles can be used in accordance with our Open Access Policy and Creative Commons license provided that the source is indicated.
19. The information and responsibility in the articles published in the journal belong to the authors.
20. The originality of the studies is one of the most important issues. For this reason, salt literature survey or bibliometric analysis, etc. studies are not included in our journal.
21. If the research subject and article have been supported by any institution or if the article is from the thesis, this should be stated in the file of the author's information.
22. Applications for articles that do not comply with publication principles will not be accepted. The evaluation process of the articles whose deficiencies are detected later will be terminated regardless of the stage and the article will be rejected.

There is no charge for article submission, evaluation and publication processes in our journal.
